Notes:

Andy is a crowd-funded researcher working at the intersections of web design, learning, and the tools we can form to supercharge human learning.

Andy’s working notes are a test site I found from Andy Matuschak.

It is a website which, instead of links to different pages, has sliding notes which come from the right side of the screen, allowing you to traverse the wiki-like notes and having your route saved.

I think because of the structure of the site it wouldn’t be the best for full essays or blog articles but I love the format for the working notes style he’s going for. If my obsidian were to be public I would prefer that format as users wouldn’t have access throughout the architecture the same way I do through my indexing.. Perhaps tags like Gwern’s site could work?

“By contrast, when we’re working on a large work-in-progress manuscript, we’re juggling many ideas in various states of completion. Different parts of the document are at different levels of fidelity. The document is large enough that it’s easy to lose one’s place or to forget where other relevant points are when one returns. Starting and stopping work for the day feel like heavy tasks, drawing heavily on working memory.”
