The /Now page of what I’m currently working on
Language Learning MOC I’m doing a 1k anki deck for Japanese right now. I have a trip booked for October and I want to be at a basic conversational level when I’m there.
August 1: -I started my Italki lessons. They’re so fun, I forget how fulfilling it is to converse in another language and get real experience. -New strategy is keeping note of things I organically want to be able to say and using these corrections to make anki cards.
Neal mentioned how Preply is subscription and therefore pretty good at keeping consistency, he’s been at 3hr a week since January!
Health: Working on the notes for these now, but I’m interested in Ben Patrick and Nsima Inyang mobility and functional body movements. I think my ankles and hips have weak mobility. I want indestructible knees and shoulders.
Rope Flow Sleds ATG Split squat regressions Soft tissue and rolling Rice bucket work?
Most mornings when I wake up if I’ve climbed the previous day I can hardly feel my calves. It keeps me in bed longer than I want. -Doing soft tissue work i think is helping, using theragun on calves before bed.
Jul 13 - Already seeing some improvement in spine from rope flow and shoulders feel better after 2 sessions with mace, popping less.
Jul 24 - My shoulders feel incredible after doing the mace each day warming up to climb. I think my split squat is getting better but I’m not sure.
Rope flow things I know now: Double Dragon roll Matador OH & UH OH Sneak and (needs work) UH sneak
