I don’t think agency is general. Meaning, there are some people who show extraordinary agency in some areas of their lives, then have a devastating lack of it in others.

Entrepreneurs who will break past any barrier to success, yet can’t do the same for their family life.

The philosopher who strives to be a free thinker, yet has no bias to action outside of his mental landscape.

I think this is fine. It’s something rather obvious when you think about it, perhaps it’s that there is only so much time, or individuals won’t be as well-rounded as we sometimes wish, whatever it is, even if “how you do anything is how you do everything” not everything can be approached the same way. The competitive businessman will only bring this competitive nature into his relationships.
