When it’s used to call someone out I see the intention, they’ve committed the opposite of their word. I criticize the idea that you are a hypocrite because you said one thing at one time and did another thing at another. Are they incapable of change? Of nuance to context?
To be sure, it is one thing to break the integrity of your character. To be dishonest.
But needing full cohesion with a past version of yourself is a recipe for stunted growth. For if a man has changed. It is his duty to act out with courage, his honest hypocrisy.

In using a quilted model of the world, the idea of hypocrisy seems.. inevitable? Different tools will have inter-lapping areas of help as well as contingence and seeming contradiction.
