It’s not necessarily that you have to have the most brutal and harrowing experiences to learn a lesson.
Sometimes, like me and Drako, it’s not necessarily the worst thing ever objectively. But subjectively it was something really hard that required us to prove courage.
Also the lesson doesn’t have to be as hard if you reflect and learn from it in a helpful way. We don’t necessarily need to learn the brutality of trials like the Mussai or Seals trainings. Because what makes men most useful in those environments, those cultures isn’t necessarily what we need the most here.
