Why do you believe what you believe?

This is easily one of the most powerful, immediate paradigm shifts to enter into a conversation or even ask yourself. It forces you to go into your person epistemology and find the source of your idea. When you think of the source you then might question credibiliy or the foundation of the idea itself rather than regurgitate. This will catch anyone who is speaking with paper expertise in their tracks. And a lot of the time it’s yourself.

Additionally, I thought to ask this.. How long have you believed what you believe?
