strongly about my conclusions because I’ve worked hard to reach them, I’ve mentally claimed that land and have benefited from the solid ground.
If you don’t feel strongly about your ideas, it means you haven’t really thought them through, you don’t truly believe in them or there’s a flaw in your logic. Keep thinking until you have strong feelings about your opinions.
Yet any man worth his salt will know that you shouldn’t take all of your ideas to the grave with you. That privilege is reserved for the perfectly refined truths, and THAT is a whole other beast of a definition in a world of uncertainty.
This doesn’t account for the level/strngth of our defence towards these opinions. Some of the “loose” nature is that we are already open to more nuance and know the opinions arent worth more than what they are.
