Needing the consequences to culturally stop things like rape

Values breaking down into rules → Morality

The religious texts are the best attempt at teaching the lessons learned in a life. Not those same lessons are a standardized fit.

Also some lessons aren’t learnable without firsthand experience like touching the stove. How do we reduce that margin of error
