I didn’t believe in any of the insincerity Thinking so many things were just stupid like having to do the dances in music class pretending we care about shit

Then, as I get older I feel an envy towards those that have a higher power, not exactly religion, but those that could devote themselves to something, a hobby, passion, belief, whatever it was. I never had anything like that, how wonderful must it feel like to have all of your energy directed and invested into one thing you can wholeheartedly devote yourself to.
