👋 Hi, I’m Keaton, welcome to my website.

This is where I learn in public and post notes which don’t make it onto substack.

You’ll notice this isn’t a typical blog, it’s a Digital Garden where I learn in public.

You can contact me through email, Instagram, or leave anonymous feedback

The Now page lists what I’m currently working on.

How it works

I have 4 folders you see on the left:

  1. Source material - these are learning notes I take from a source (links & page numbers when possible)
  2. Tags - Half used and messy, but a nice to find a note based on topic.
  3. MOCs - Map-Of-Content. A MOC is a navigation hub I make when a subject gets more densely connected. These are the best starting points.
  4. Zettelkasten - Home for all ideas. Finished Atomic notes go into this folder.

You can also navigate through clusters with the graph view at the bottom (mobile) or on the side (desktop), each dot is a note and the lines show the links to and from that note. Prefer associative links > indexed files

This design offers a more exploratory user experience. Rather than a birds-eye view of content, we’re on street-view (with a few bus stations). I still write in Obsidian and then sync my changes to the build so users get a mirrored experience of how I write and navigate my own notes.

(Note: These notes roughly represent my brain space, however—many ideas are experimental and my conviction on any specific idea is highly variable. This is a playground for my brain, not a presentation.)
