You don’t need the exact destination, but if you can move 51% in the right direction you’re doing better.
Most of the time we don’t know the best direction, we just know when we’re moving in the wrongdirection.
Even if we don’t see the full picture, or can rate our goals in a linear fashion, directionally correct can lead us to a better sense of discovery even when we don’t feel a direct sense of progress. Trying to quantify progress can be too strict of a goal at times, but directionally correct allows us to make more lateral and creative moves in our life.
